Purpose of the Role: The Senior Salesforce Administrator plays a critical role in maximizing the value and performance of our Salesforce platform. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of the platform from strategic planning to hands-on execution to ensuring it aligns with evolving business objectives and delivers measurable impact across the organization. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, maintaining data integrity, and continuously optimizing the environment to enhance reliability, scalability, and user adoption. Core Responsibilities Platform Administration: Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for our Salesforce environment, ensuring platform stability, security, data integrity, and optimal configuration. Manage day-to-day operations, user support, and platform reliability. Product Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather business requirements, refine processes, and shape a clear product vision. Provide expert guidance on scalable Salesforce solution approaches that align with strategic project goals. Solution Design & Configuration: Analyze business needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions. Design and implement scalable configurations including workflows, custom objects, page layouts, record types, validation rules, Lightning pages, and other point-and-click features to optimize the user experience. Automation & Optimization: Leverage standard Salesforce automation tools—such as Flows, Quick Actions, etc.—to streamline user tasks and business processes. Continuously evaluate platform usage, performance, and data integrity to identify and implement improvements. User Enablement: Provide ongoing training, documentation, and responsive support to business users. Promote adoption of Salesforce best practices through enablement strategies tailored to end-user needs. Change Management: Lead change initiatives related to platform updates, new feature rollouts, and process enhancements. Ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption through thoughtful planning and communication. Innovation & Best Practices: Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, industry trends, and new technologies. Proactively assess and recommend features or tools that can add value to the business and modernize existing processes. Data Management: Maintain high standards of data quality through regular audits, cleansing, and enforcement of validation and duplicate rules. Manage data imports, exports, and storage needs while ensuring compliance with data governance standards. Security & Access Controls: Implement and maintain user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to enforce platform security and support evolving business requirements. Systems Integration: Collaborate with developers, vendors, and IT teams to manage and maintain integrations with external systems. Understand the impact of integrations on data models, performance, and workflows to ensure cohesive platform performance. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in organizations that use Financial Services Cloud. Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, or equivalent certifications preferred. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, standard objects, fields, and functionality. Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and tools such as Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms and Salesforce Flow. Experience with integrations with Marketo and/or Mako is an asset. Familiarity with Salesforce latest AI capabilities is an asset. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer. Compensation & Benefits This position comes with a base salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program.
