Technical Product Manager - Remote Canada This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Product Manager in Canada . In this role, you will lead the translation of market and client needs into technically robust and scalable product capabilities. You will bridge the gap between product strategy and engineering execution, ensuring high-quality delivery of complex software platforms. The role involves guiding architecture discussions, validating design feasibility, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional technical teams. You will influence product direction, support backlog prioritisation, and participate in customer‑facing solution discussions. This position offers the opportunity to work on a cutting‑edge healthcare data platform, driving interoperability, data quality, and innovative technical solutions in a remote‑friendly, collaborative environment. Accountabilities Define and own the product strategy for core platform components, including data ingestion pipelines, data quality, persistence layers, and administration capabilities Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to perform technical analysis and identify gaps between product and market needs Translate architectural patterns and operational needs into actionable product requirements Participate in architecture and code review discussions to validate feasibility, scalability, and maintainability Support backlog refinement, delivery oversight, and prioritisation guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle Evangelise product features to internal teams and external customers, including hosting demos, presentations, and workshops Ensure technical documentation, versioning, and platform capabilities are accessible and well‑communicated across teams Maintain compliance with privacy, security, and confidentiality policies, tracking billable hours and project management activities accurately Requirements 5+ years in Technical Product Management, Software Engineering, Platform Product Ownership, or related technical role Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related technical field Proven experience delivering complex software platforms, preferably in healthcare or enterprise environments Strong understanding of FHIR/HAPI FHIR, RESTful APIs, data integration, ETL, data persistence, and authentication frameworks (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA) and terminology standards (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD‑10) Experience with CI/CD, software release cycles, and software development lifecycle practices Ability to review architecture/design proposals, translate use cases into technical requirements, and provide guidance on implementation Familiarity with cloud‑native environments (Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform), distributed systems, observability, and system administration tools Strong critical thinking, solution‑oriented mindset, and effective verbal and written communication skills Benefits Competitive salary ($100,000 - $125,000/year) and health/medical benefits Remote work environment with flexible time away policies, including PTO, personal, and sick days Retirement savings contributions (RRSP/TFSA/401K) and life/disability coverage Employee assistance programmes and continuous learning opportunities (FHIR Study Program, Skillsoft Learning) Inclusive and diverse work culture that values respect, collaboration, and empowerment Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Information Technology Industries Non‑profit Organisations and Primary and Secondary Education #J-18808-Ljbffr
