Job Title : Business Analyst Model : Onsite 3-4 days Job Type : Full time Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of an Insurance Brokers Application . The BA will bridge business needs with technology solutions, focusing on streamlining broker interactions, policy management, quoting, renewals, and claims processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance domain processes and experience working with broker management systems or digital insurance platforms. Key Responsibilities of BA Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering Work with stakeholders (brokers, underwriters, operations, IT, compliance) to understand and document business needs. Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for broker-facing applications. Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Conduct gap analysis between existing processes and proposed system capabilities. Process Design & Optimization Map and optimize broker workflows (quotation, policy issuance, endorsement, renewal, claims, and commission management). Identify opportunities for automation and improved user experience within the broker portal/application. Support the creation of process flow diagrams, data models, and system integration maps. Solution Delivery & Testing Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review sessions. Validate implemented features against business requirements through UAT and system testing. Stakeholder & Change Management Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams. Prepare training materials and conduct workshops for broker and internal user onboarding. Ensure alignment with compliance, underwriting, and data security policies. Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking domain specifically insurance domain (brokerage, underwriting, or policy administration systems) is value add Understanding of insurance lifecycle processes – quoting, binding, policy servicing, renewals, and claims. Experience with broker management systems or digital platforms Proficiency in documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio,). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
