Join us in our mission to become the leading car accessory brand in North America.Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Technician to join our dynamic product development team. The CAD Technician role is responsible for development of car mats from research, 3D scanning to production with speed to market and high-quality output in mind. We are an ambitious group looking to take Automotive Accessories the next level. If you are passionate about design related to cars, enjoy working in a fast pace and self-autonomous environment – we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities:3D scanning of vehicle interior, process 3D scan data for design packages Collaborate with design team on design directionPrepare product drawings for vendor partners Maintain organized files, changes, specificationsReview prototypes for fit, form and required adjustmentsUtilize SolidWorks and Adobe Illustrator for designs, notes, and adjustments Collaborate with marketing, operation team for seamless product launchesQualifications:Technician/Technology Diploma or equivalent in the disciplines of 3D CAD designExperience with prototyping or working in a production environment is an assetMinimum of 2+ years in CAD or production experienceWilling to try new processes and idea to seek continuous improvementsInterest in the automotive industry and product developmentExperience in Adobe illustrator or 3D scanning an assetAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) TuxMat is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
