We are currently seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operations Coordinator to join our team. Position Summary The Ocean Export Operations Coordinator will manage the full ocean export cycle—from booking and documentation to communication with carriers, clients, and overseas agents. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage time-sensitive shipments in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of ocean export shipments, including bookings and documentation. Liaise with carriers, clients, and international partners to ensure accurate and timely movement of cargo. Prepare, review, and issue export documentation (Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin). Complete and verify CERS filings in compliance with CBSA regulations. Review documents and process shipments under Letters of Credit. Manage shipment details, milestones, and data accuracy in CargoWise (experience preferred). Monitor cargo status, troubleshoot operational issues, and provide proactive communication to stakeholders. Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific instructions. Qualifications & Requirements 3–5 years minimum ocean export experience in freight forwarding or logistics. Strong understanding of ocean export procedures, documentation, and international trade requirements. Knowledge of major trade lanes and carrier booking processes. Working knowledge of CargoWise (preferred). Experience with Letters of Credit and CERS filing is required. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
