This deep-rooted legacy informs their forward-thinking practice, ensuring clients benefit from both proven experience and progressive design.About the Rolerybka Group is looking for a Mechanical Designer or Engineer to join our growing buildings team and help shape the future of sustainable, high-performance buildings. This role is suited to experienced intermediate professionals ready to take on more responsibility, or senior engineers looking to lead and mentor within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.ResponsibilitiesLead or contribute to the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for diverse building projects.Develop detailed designs, specifications, and technical drawings in coordination with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.Perform system calculations, equipment selection, and energy modeling.Support project delivery from concept through construction, including site reviews and commissioning support.Mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of best practices.QualificationsDegree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design for buildings.Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design/calculation software.Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and sustainable design principles.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Eligible for or currently holding P.Eng. or CET designation.Experience with energy modelling, LEED, or Net Zero Project will be considered as an asset.Why Join rybka Group?Shape meaningful projects that prioritize sustainability, performance, and community impact.Join a supportive, collaborative team where your ideas matter.Take on leadership opportunities and grow your career with mentorship and training.Enjoy flexible work arrangements and a culture that values balance and well-being.
