Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation is seeking a resourceful Administrative and Fundraising Assistant to support our fundraising activities and organizational operations, and to become a vital part of our dynamic team at Wellspring Westerkirk House, 105 Wellness Way (on the campus of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto). This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of $50,000 a year, plus benefits. Required Skills: At least two years' experience in an administrative role Demonstrated skill at entering complex information into a database Very high degree of attention to detail High degree of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Speed and accuracy in completion of tasks, including data entry Superior writing skills Fluency in English Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Friendly, professional demeanour Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly Preferred Skills: Experience in a charity/non-profit environment an asset Experience with Salesforce database (or other databases) a strong asset Responsibilities: Fundraising campaign support, including database maintenance, donor communications, and general administrative duties Donation processing, including data entry, thank-you letters, acknowledgement cards, and donation receipts Recruitment support, including job postings, screenings, and setting up interviews Operations support Administrative support for Board and committee meetings Administrative support for CEO and COO Phone and email communication with donors and members Occasional reception and other duties as required Discretion and adherence to confidentiality policy If you have the above qualifications and would like to support Wellspring's mission of helping individuals and families living with cancer, please apply to Jason Taniguchi with cover letter and résumé at humanresources@wellspring.ca.
