Logistics Coordinator / Transportation Planner Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transportation Planner to support our logistics operations at their Hamilton location. This role is responsible for coordinating transportation activities, optimizing delivery processes, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and third-party carriers. Key Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate daily bulk deliveries Troubleshoot and resolve shipment or delivery issues Tender loads to third-party carriers and monitor accessorial charges Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet deadlines Coordinate with Maintenance personnel regarding equipment repairs, maintenance, and wash schedules Manage payroll processes for company drivers Monitor, evaluate, and report on 3PL carrier performance Qualifications 5+ years of experience in transportation planning, dispatching, or load planning Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with intermodal and/or bulk rail logistics (an asset) Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
