POSITIONWe are seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and securing top-tier talent for our technical and senior leadership roles in North America. This position will develop strategies related to talent acquisition, leverage data analytics and AI, and partner directly with the hiring managers to identify, assess and source candidates.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans with hiring managers to attract high-level candidates, leveraging AI-driven insights and analytics to influence decisionsManage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing to offer negotiation for a variety of open positions at any given timeCollaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create compelling job descriptionsUtilize various sourcing methods, including passive search, job boards, social media, and professional networksConduct preliminary interviews and assessments of candidatesMaintain detailed records and pipeline of candidates and recruitment activitiesStay up to date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and provide the insight and feedback on how we can incorporate it our day to dayProvide market intelligence and shape hiring strategies in consultation with senior leadersEvaluate and improve recruitment programs and processesParticipate in strategic projects related to talent acquisition, such as tool implementation and employer brandingOrganize and attend career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activitiesJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruitment and senior leadership roles, preferably in the software industryStrong knowledge of IT/Digital talent acquisition and recruitment processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEffectively able to communicate with hiring manager at various levels and capacities in order to develop a reliable working relationshipProficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment toolsFamiliarity with Canadian employment laws and regulationsExperience with high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environmentProven track record of successfully placing candidates in technical roles and senior leadership rolesCertified Human Resources Professional (CPHR) designation (preferred)
