Business Analyst- Senior 10+ years of experience

Assignment Deliverables Lead and conduct business and system analysis in respect to building the golden layer of the data lakehouse and modernized reports in PowerBI.. Lead the effort into defining the reporting MVP; document legacy reports in scope of MVP; conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations. Document report requirements in user stories in DevOps. Conduct analysis at varying levels of detail, appropriate to the project and phases of project, aligning with OPS standards. Liaise between Business Areas and the data migration and reporting team, to clarify business requirements and translate them into system and reporting requirements. Conduct business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects, including report requirements, screen specifications, business rules, data migration requirements, etc. Produce/update documentation which will allow future support of the implemented solutions. Assist with identifying and resolving data quality issues, defining test cases, performing data reconciliation, and addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during the testing phase; developing KPIs to report on the progress, completeness and quality of the reporting and data migration effort. Ongoing Support: provide post-migration support, analyze and address data-related issues or questions; help with optimizing data management processes in the new environment. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience and Skill Set Requirements: Must Haves: 10+ years of experience leading and conducting business and system analysis to assess client's business problems/opportunities and document the business/system requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be designed. Proven experience in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies. Proven experience in conducting business and system analysis in respect to building data marts/data warehouses/data lakehouse or Business Intelligence/Data Analytics and Reporting solutions. Demonstrated experience working as a business analyst in large/complex data migration projects. Demonstrated experience with writing user stories and using tools such as DevOps. Familiarity with industry-standard quality assurance practices, such as ISO standards, CMMI, or Agile methodologies Experience consulting and coordinating between Business Areas and the IT Development and Testing teams to clarify business requirements and translating them into system requirements.
