On behalf of our Financial Services/Banks client, People Force is searching for a Solution Architect for full time role. This position is a hybrid position with onsite presence at our client's ( Mississauga, ON ) office , 3 days per week. Job Title: Solution Architect (FSC Exp. mandatory) Location: Mississauga, ON (3 days onsite per week) Duration: Full Time Job Description: Key Responsibilities Define and lead the architectural design of large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation programs aligned to business objectives. Own the solution lifecycle end-to-end—from initial concept and planning through to deployment—ensuring both technical soundness and business alignment. Act as a trusted architectural advisor and decision-maker across domains including business, applications, infrastructure, and security. Partner closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners to establish architectures that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements. Develop detailed architecture deliverables, including blueprints and solution designs, to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability. Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, technology strategies, and industry regulations. Exposure on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud implementations, including data models, integrations, and customization best practices. Guide the adoption of API-first and microservices-based designs, leveraging Microsoft Azure and cloud-native approaches. Conduct design and code reviews to ensure the creation of secure, reusable, and high-quality components. Support modernization initiatives by addressing technical debt and evolving legacy platforms. Mentor and guide delivery teams—including development, infrastructure, and operations—ensuring architectural consistency and delivery success. Present and explain architectural decisions clearly to both technical and business audiences. Required Experience & Skills Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Solution Architect, preferably within the financial services sector (exposure to lending, banking, or insurance is an asset). Proven track record leading transformation programs in a Lead Architect role. Exposure on designing and delivering solutions on Salesforce, with proficiency in Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Lightning, and Marketing Cloud (SFMC), is highly desirable Strong expertise in APIs, microservices, ESBs, and event-driven architectures. Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including cloud infrastructure, IAM, and DevOps practices. Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements (PCI, SOC 2), and hybrid security best practices. Ability to balance tactical solution delivery with long-term strategic goals and enterprise standards. Demonstrated success working collaboratively across business and IT, in both agile and hybrid delivery environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders. Professional certifications (TOGAF, Azure Architect, Salesforce) are highly valued.
