Spécialiste en santé et sécurité (transport) Emplacement: Boucherville, QC Contrat 18 mois Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Spécialiste en santé et sécurité pour rejoindre une équipe dynamique et collaborative. La personne retenue jouera un rôle clé dans l'avancement des initiatives en santé et sécurité au travail à travers les opérations au Québec. Elle agira en tant que conseillère/conseiller de confiance auprès de la direction et du personnel opérationnel, en contribuant à une culture de sécurité proactive et à l'amélioration continue des pratiques en matière de santé et sécurité. Responsabilités principales Promouvoir un environnement de travail sécuritaire, respectueux et inclusif. Conseiller les gestionnaires sur les exigences SST et assurer la conformité. Mener des enquêtes d'incidents, analyses de causes, et suivis correctifs. Participer aux audits, inspections et analyses de risques. Former les superviseurs et employés sur les meilleures pratiques en SST. Maintenir les registres et rapports SST à jour. Collaborer à l'intégration SST lors de nouveaux processus et embauches. Soutenir les programmes de retour au travail et la sécurité du transport. Qualifications Diplôme en santé et sécurité au travail. Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans un rôle en santé et sécurité. Expérience dans le domaine du transport requise. Expérience et compétences Bilinguisme requis : français et anglais. Bonne connaissance des lois provinciales en matière de santé et sécurité, du Code canadien du travail Partie II, et des réglementations applicables. Permis de conduire de classe 1 (atout - peut être expiré ou actuellement valide) Formation officielle en techniques d'enquête sur les incidents. Expérience en sécurité routière et conformité dans le secteur du transport (atout). Bonne compréhension des principes de gestion des risques et de prévention des pertes, avec expérience dans leur application. Capacité démontrée à influencer et encadrer efficacement les pairs et les employés de première ligne. Excellentes compétences en organisation, planification et gestion des priorités dans un environnement dynamique. Autonomie, professionnalisme, esprit d'équipe, et capacité à travailler avec un minimum de supervision. Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite, ainsi qu'en présentation. Disponibilité à voyager dans la région pour visiter différents sites. Permis de conduire classe 5 valide. Contract 18 months We are seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join a dynamic and collaborative team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing occupational health and safety initiatives across operations in Quebec. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to both leadership and operational staff, contributing to a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in health and safety practices. Key Responsibilities Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement. Foster a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free workplace. Collaborate with teams to reduce incidents and raise safety awareness. Advise leaders on safety requirements impacting operations. Support managers in applying safe work practices and ensuring compliance. Track and report safety metrics; lead or assist in incident investigations. Coordinate return-to-work plans and external audit preparations. Integrate safety into onboarding and new operational processes. Coach supervisors on safety planning and documentation. Maintain site safety records and follow up on corrective actions. Lead site inspections, hazard analyses, and training sessions. Implement safety programs and support transport/hazardous materials compliance. Qualifications Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a health and safety role, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Transportation background required. Experience & Skills Bilingualism: French and English required Solid knowledge of provincial occupational health and safety regulations, the Canada Labour Code Part II, and applicable legislation. Class 1 drivers license (can be either expired or currently active) Formal training in incident investigation techniques. Experience in road safety and transportation safety compliance is an asset. Strong understanding of risk assessment and loss prevention strategies. Ability to influence and guide peers and operational staff effectively. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, professional, and collaborative, with the ability to work independently. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Willingness to travel regionally to multiple work sites. Possession of a valid driver's license. Flexibility to work outside standard hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) as required.
