Our client, an expanding industry leader, is looking for a Production Manager to join their team. In this exciting position, you will take a lead role in completing production targets, staff management and oversee plant operations. This is a great opportunity to be a key stakeholder in a growing company that invests in its employees. What you will do in this role: Provides leadership and direction to staff including motivating, mentoring, and cross-training. Participate in ongoing H&S training, audits etc. Hands-on and prioritizes safety, quality control, operational efficiency, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining product integrity, practicing highest levels of GMP's and conforming to all company's safety programs and SOPs. Review daily production schedules while working with plans and advise management of any discrepancies or issues to ensure production process meets and exceeds expected KPIs, attainment and efficiencies. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Monitor and maintain productivity targets, with a high emphasis on efficiency improvement and cost of goods reduction. Coordinate and develop documentation, standards, and processes to ensure quality and consistency in the manufacturing process. What you will bring to the role: 5+ years production management (titled) experience within the manufacturing sector required. 4+ years TPM and CI, Lean, 5S or Kaizen experience required.
