We are seeking an Aeronautics Technical Representative – Avionics Systems Specialist to join our team Job Summary To ensure that airlines operating CRJ aircraft can continue to fly reliably and safely, MHIRJ has established a global support ecosystem, with its Customer Response Center (CRC) at the heart of the system. As the entry point for all technical and parts-related questions concerning the CRJ fleet, the CRC is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to provide complete, live support. CRC staff come from diverse backgrounds. This includes mechanics and avionics professionals who have worked on the CRJ production line, as well as individuals with experience in heavy checks, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), and general, business, and commercial aviation. These experts specialize in urgent AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations as well as routine requests, providing immediate support ranging from aircraft troubleshooting to technical problem diagnosis and resolution, dispatching field technical assistance, or shipping essential components. Apply and bring your skills—this is not a traditional office job Your Contribution as an Aeronautics Technical Representative – Avionics Systems Specialist : Be part of an incredible team of talented people who share your passion for aviation. Coordinate technical investigations with engineers, suppliers, and aircraft operators. Perform technical analysis and problem evaluation (troubleshooting) and implement necessary corrections. Respond to airlines' technical questions by providing tailored solutions. Assess and investigate service difficulties and contribute to long-term solutions. Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers among our airline customers. Promote MHIRJ products and services to contribute to overall profitability. What It Takes to Succeed : Hold a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license from Transport Canada or an FAA-certified A&P license, with expertise in avionics systems. Have 5 years of experience with an airline or MRO organization working on CRJ products. Experience in MOC or technical services is an asset. Be a team player, show initiative, demonstrate strong responsibility, and possess sound technical and business judgment. Be willing to travel on short notice (less than 10% of work time). Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build and maintain positive relationships, and communicate effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy. Be able to work under pressure, pay attention to detail, plan effectively, and be fully committed to meeting deadlines. Be autonomous, capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple urgent initiatives simultaneously. English is required for the role, as the selected candidate will regularly communicate with colleagues, customers, or partners outside Quebec.
