Integrity, accountability, and skill are the cornerstones of our success.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Genesys Cloud Architect to design and execute data integrations within the Genesys Cloud platform, ensuring seamless integration with various systems. This role involves supporting deployment and configuration for clients, developing custom integrations using Genesys Cloud APIs and SDKs, and contributing to the creation of intelligent chatbots and virtual agents.Key Responsibilities:• Design and Development (40%)• Develop advanced flows within Architect, including integrations and APIs.• Create and implement custom integrations using Genesys Cloud APIs and SDKs.• Develop and optimize the functionality of intelligent chatbots and virtual agents.• Deployment and Configuration (30%)• Support deployment and configuration of Genesys Cloud for clients.• Ensure smooth integration of Genesys Cloud with other cloud technologies like AWS Lambda and Azure.• Client Interaction and Communication (15%)• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.• Maintenance and Troubleshooting (10%)• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations to ensure high availability and performance.• Conduct regular updates and patches to the existing integrations.• Team Collaboration (5%)• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and capabilities.• Contribute to Agile delivery teams and participate in regular sprints and reviews.Qualifications:Mandatory Skills:• 8+ years of experience in Genesys Cloud or related contact center technologies.• Must have a Reliability Clearance or Secret Clearance.• Proficiency in developing advanced flows within Architect, including integrations and APIs.• Strong understanding of RESTful Architecture and APIs.• Excellent client communication skills.• Ability to learn quickly with limited external support.• Demonstrated "can-do" attitude and achiever mindset.• Team player with strong collaboration skills.Desirable Skills:• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Node.js (Preferred), JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, Java or equivalent• Understanding of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.• Knowledge of BYOC and other telephony integrations.• Experience with SMTP Integration with Genesys Cloud.• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker.• Experience with other contact center platforms such as Avaya, Cisco, or Twilio.• Experience with real-time and historical reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.• Experience working in or with Agile delivery teams.Why Connex?• Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to innovation and excellence.• Work in a remote model from anywhere in Canada, offering flexibility and work-life balance.• Grow your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.Are you enthusiastic about contributing to a successful and innovative company on the forefront of technology?
