Job Description : IT Project Manager Location: Remote (occasional travel within Kitchener-Waterloo to Toronto region, Canada) Contract Duration: 12 months About the Role We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with 5+ years of proven success in managing IT solutions, service improvements, and infrastructure projects. This role will focus on enhancing help desk operations, evaluating legacy hardware (including printers), and driving efficiency across IT services. While primarily remote, occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings, site evaluations, or project milestones. Key Responsibilities Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within scope. Oversee help desk improvement initiatives to optimize response times and customer satisfaction. Conduct evaluations of legacy printers and hardware , recommending upgrades or replacements. Collaborate with IT Services teams to streamline workflows and improve service delivery. Manage infrastructure-related projects, including system upgrades and service continuity planning. Act as liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure alignment. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience . Strong background in IT services management and infrastructure projects . Experience with service desk operations and process improvement. Ability to evaluate and modernize legacy systems and hardware. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. PMP or equivalent certification is an asset
