We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement and management of goods. This position requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Duties

  • Operate various types of equipment including forklifts and clamp trucks for order picking and material handling.
  • Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders effectively.
  • Perform order picking tasks accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products throughout the warehouse as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar role within warehouse management or distribution.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Experience operating forklifts or clamp trucks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
