Aquatrans Distributors requires experienced Owner Operators for work based out of our Vancouver Island lanes. As an Owner Operator for Aquatrans you will be operating on the Vancouver Island and may need to travel to the mainland. You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances for our Reefer division.

Compensation: Work is trip rated and hourly depending on destination.

Shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 5 days a week, or as needed. Shift times are variable. Weekend work and layovers may be required based on business needs. Need to be flexible with all hours of work.

Benefits – flexible time off schedule. Option to join company extended benefits program.

Duties Include:

  • Pre-trip and post trip inspection
  • Maintain accurate driver logs
  • Operate truck and trailer in safety minded way
  • Report vehicle deficiencies
  • Highway work required
  • Transport various goods across Vancouver Island

Requirement:

  • Class 1 drivers' license
  • 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
  • Verbal and written communication in English
  • Must have a reliable cellphone to operate Samsara
  • Safety conscious and safe operator
  • Equipment must be 2012 or newer

Aquatrans Truck Drivers are trusted to work with sensitive information. We require all candidates that receive and accepted offers to complete a background check before being hired.

Monday to Friday with availability on the weekends.

Must be available to accept any shift - morning, afternoon or evening shift.
