Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Grants Compliance Officer located in Milton, ON. The Grants Compliance Officer will oversee regulatory compliance for grant programs, manage adherence to funding requirements, and ensure accuracy in reporting. Responsibilities include monitoring grant utilization, conducting compliance reviews, collaborating with internal teams on financial and administrative accountability, and staying updated on applicable regulations. Additionally, the role necessitates providing compliance guidance and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders to address related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data and ensure grant adherence
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide compliance guidance
- Proficiency in Finance, including budget management and reporting for grants
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in regulatory compliance or grant oversight is a plus
- Knowledge of grant laws, guidelines, and funding agency requirements is an asset
