The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Drywall finishing / Construction / Painting, demonstrating proficiency in various maintenance person tasks. The Drywall Technician will be responsible for executing a range of repairs most of which are 1-2 days at each service call.

Duties

  • Perform drywall installation and repair, ensuring smooth finishes ready for paint.
  • Execute construction painting tasks, including surface preparation and application of paint or finishes.
  • Utilize maintenance person skills for general maintenance and repair tasks across various projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working conditionx
  • Small to medium drywall repairs, most jobs 1-2 days various job sites across the GTA.

Experience

  • Proven experience in drywall work, construction painting, and general maintenance person services is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • MUST have a reliable vehicle.
  • MUST not be a general contractor.
  • Basic drywall tools (knife, drill, trowels etc)
