Join our Talent Pool for the 2026 Operations SeasonAlthough our seasonal hiring is currently closed, we're accepting general applications for future consideration in the following positions:
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Excavator, Haul Truck, Grader, Dozer Operators)
- Rock Truck Drivers
- Construction Labourers
- Construction Supervisors
- Lead Hands
Education / Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Relevant certifications or training in mining, construction, or heavy equipment operation, an asset
- Experience in remote site work or industrial settings is an asset
- Brings a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute in a team-focused environment
- High attention to safety and respect for colleagues
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Collaborative and effective team player who can jump in wherever is needed
All positions are site-based camp jobs at Eskay Creek Mine site and will involve working at a remote mine site on a 15 days on/13 days off rotation.
The Eskay Creek Project is located within the Coast Mountains of Northwestern British Columbia and Tahltan Territory. Ground transportation will be provided from local communities to the Eskay Creek Site facilities. For those applicants located elsewhere in western Canada, flight transportation from major urban centers will be provided to the Terrace or Smithers airports, from which shuttles will provide transportation to the Eskay Creek Camp facilities. Travel time and expenses are subject to Skeena's Travel Policy.
There will be exposure to extreme temperatures in all seasons including working outdoors in snow, mud, ice, and wet conditions, walking to and from different locations on uneven ground, prolonged periods of standing and physically handling/lifting/moving heavy objects.
Compensation
Compensation will be aligned with market rates and determined based on experience, qualifications, and role.
