Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include shipping and receiving products, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to load and unload shipments safely.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain organization within the warehouse by stocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
  • Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency in the shipping/receiving area.
  • Assist with e-commerce order processing, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Conduct basic math calculations to verify quantities during the picking and packing process.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum High School graduation.

· At least 2 year related experience an asset, but training will be provided

· Ability to operate equipment such as, but not limited to, Power Lift equipment; Raymond Reach Truck license required.

· Basic knowledge of Shipping, Receiving and Warehousing

· Good ability to multi-task with good organizational and prioritization skills

· Good ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment which includes shift changes and product variation

· Good level of tact and diplomacy re: dealing with Customer Service issues

· Good written and verbal communication skills (English)

· Ability to work under moderate pressure in order to meet tight deadlines imposed by circumstances beyond own control

· Team player able to relate with all levels of staff
