About the Project

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the design and implementation of the Coveo Search Platform as part of a digital experience transformation initiative for an intranet. The role will cover leading key activities from requirements refinement, architecture design through build, integrated testing, and hypercare support. The solution will integrate Coveo with Contentful and ServiceNow to deliver intelligent, unified search experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Delivery

  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst to refine and validate technical requirements.
  • Define and document the end-to-end system architecture, ensuring seamless integration between Coveo, Contentful, and ServiceNow, with considerations for any future sources and use cases
  • Develop a detailed sprint plan for the build with the captured requirements.
  • Lead and manage the development and testing teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Conduct regular technical design reviews
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee environment setup, configuration, and CI/CD pipeline readiness.
  • Drive resolution of technical issues during the build, testing, and hypercare phases.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, configuration details, integration specifications).
  • Support the change adoption and knowledge transfer activities during hypercare.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

Coveo Expertise

  • Proven hands-on experience with
    Coveo
    Search Platform including configuration, indexing, query pipelines, machine learning models, and analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of Coveo APIs and connectors, particularly integrations with Contentful CMS and ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Coveo relevance tuning, result ranking, and usage analytics
  • Nice to have – implementation for an intranet and experience implementing CAGR
  • Nice to have – Platform Developer Certification

Integration & Development Skills

  • Experience with Contentful CMS and synchronization with search solutions.
  • Experience with ServiceNow including REST APIs, knowledge base integration, and data extraction.
  • Proficiency in modern web technologies (JavaScript, ).
  • Strong understanding of API management, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and SSO integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and CI/CD automation.
  • Background in data modeling, semantic search, and search relevance optimization.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams (developers, QA, DevOps).
  • Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience, including sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage project risks and ensure delivery quality.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise search or composable digital experience platforms.
