Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a positive first impression
  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed during food handling and serving
  • Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations throughout shifts
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while providing attentive guest service
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes
  • Experience with food industry standards including serving, upselling, and cashiering is desirable
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
