Human Resources & Receptionist

Location: Calgary, AB

Status: Full-Time, In-Person

Wage: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Weekends Off)

About Galaxy Processing

Galaxy Processing is the largest distribution center of The Star Group. This 200,000 sq. ft. facility, with over 30,000 sq. ft. of cooler space, features state of the art sorting lines, multiple packing machines, and superior conditioning rooms.

Focus

We are looking for an organized, personable, and proactive Human Resources & Receptionist professional to join our team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Greet visitors and employees in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
  • Support HR team with onboarding, employee documentation, and recordkeeping
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR files
  • Process time and attendance data through Dayforce
  • Assist with HR initiatives, employee engagement activities, and internal communications
  • Coordinate office supplies, deliveries, and general administrative tasks

Key Attributes and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Dayforce
  • Positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, in person position
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Saturdays and Sundays off
