Job description

Giovane Caffe on 1049 W Cordova St. in Vancouver is looking for a Counter Server/Barista to join the team The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and coffee culture and who has flexible availability.

The purpose of this position is to produce delicious hot & cold beverages, prepare food orders and take customer payment. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn will be essential to the success of this position. Your focus will include assisting with food assembly and beverage orders, preparing espresso-based coffee drinks, milk texturing and latte art.

What we expect from you:

  • 1+ year experience of barista experience preferred
  • Ability to professionally communicate, prepare and serve our menu offerings
  • Excited about providing exceptional customer service
  • Availability to open/close and work on holidays/Christmas
  • Organized, proactive, looking for growth-opportunities, and a team player
  • Ordering and inventory experience considered an asset
  • Serving it Right Certificate is required
