Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and possess excellent leadership skills. This role is crucial for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, implementing training programs, and maintaining store standards.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise a team of employees to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Oversee merchandising efforts to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the recruiting process to build a strong team.
  • Implement training and development programs for new hires and existing staff.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with purchasing decisions, and manage pricing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and financial transactions.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, motivation, and conflict resolution.
  • Utilize POS systems for transaction processing and sales reporting.
  • Collaborate with upper management on budgeting and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within retail or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable to enhance customer interactions.
  • Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising strategies, and store management practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Proficient in time management to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping principles and basic math skills for financial reporting.
