What You Will Do:

  • Providing strategic expertise and thought leadership on Enbridge's low code platforms and practices guiding the evolution and adoption of these technologies across the enterprise.

  • Shaping and influencing technical direction by collaborating with Enterprise Architecture on architecture standards, blueprints, roadmaps, and decision trees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future-state vision.

  • Articulating the coordinated capabilities of Low Code Services, demonstrating how diverse technologies can be orchestrated to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that address complex business needs.

  • Ensuring TIS Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) and architects are sufficiently enabled and up to speed on Low Code Services capabilities, so they can effectively communicate and advocate these offerings to clients.

  • Maximizing the value of low code platforms at Enbridge by identifying opportunities for increased adoption, efficiency, and business impact across the organization.

  • Fostering effective communication and coordination among project managers, stakeholders, and outsourced delivery teams, enabling timely delivery of strategic initiatives and maximizing value from external partnerships.

  • Establishing intake processes for new low code solution requests, developing strategic estimates for new builds and major enhancements, and prioritizing initiatives based on enterprise impact.

  • Overseeing the pipeline of low code solutions, monitoring deployment status, and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and technology roadmaps.

  • Providing governance and oversight for outsourced delivery teams to support strategic resource management.

  • Offering expert-level guidance and escalation support to the low code operations team, focusing on complex, high-impact issues that require architectural insight.

  • Enabling rapid onboarding and strategic capability development for new development, integration, and outsourced delivery teams, ensuring alignment with emerging technologies and enterprise standards.

  • Ensuring development practices are consistent with corporate policies, standards, and industry best practices, and for encouraging continuous improvement and innovation within the low code ecosystem.

  • Accountable for some aspects of budget tracking, invoice payments and project resource allocation

Who You Are:

  • University degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in related IT role, including a minimum of 5 years' experience in application development, and a minimum of 3 years' experience designing and architecting full solutions (concurrent with development experience is acceptable)

  • Experience architecting and delivering application integration solutions such as REST APIs, database integrations, publish/subscribe integrations, event-based messaging, and cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions)

  • Technical understanding and exposure to a broad range of technologies, including servers (virtualization, storage, operating systems), networking (firewalls, routing, load-balancers), application security (SSO authentication, role-based access control), and cloud infrastructure.

  • Knowledge and experience applying Agile principles and methodologies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and advance architectural vision.
