About the Role
Inter-Op Canada — a Canadian leader in

bilingual, driven, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant & Marketing Coordinator
to join our growing team.
This role supports the
President
of Inter-Op Canada by managing key priorities, communications, and executive initiatives. You'll also help coordinate
marketing, events, and communications activities
that strengthen the company's visibility and engagement in Canada's
defence and public safety sectors
.
While you'll work directly with the
President
on strategic direction and support needs, your
day-to-day task coordination and planning
will be delegated and overseen by the
Operations Manager
, ensuring alignment across departments and efficient team collaboration.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact position ideal for someone early in their career who thrives on challenge, growth, and teamwork.
What You'll Do
Executive Support
- Manage the President's
schedule, communications, and action items
. - Coordinate
meetings, travel, briefings, and follow-ups
. - Prepare and proof
presentations, reports, and executive correspondence
. - Track priorities, deadlines, and ongoing initiatives with oversight from the
Operations Manager
. - Handle
confidential information
with professionalism and discretion.
Marketing Coordination
- Assist with
planning and executing Inter-Op's marketing calendar
(LinkedIn posts, newsletters, campaigns, etc.). - Collaborate with
marketing partners, agencies, and vendors
to align visuals, messaging, and timelines. - Support
trade show and event logistics
(e.g.,
CANSEC, SOF Week, TSM Canada C4ISR Working Group
, and U.S.-based industry events). - Help prepare
content, graphics, promotional materials, and event displays
. - Track marketing performance metrics and assist with post-event and campaign reporting.
Team & Operations Coordination
- Work closely with the
Operations Manager
to ensure clear communication, planning, and task execution across teams. - Assist in
internal coordination
, project tracking, and team documentation. - Support onboarding and training logistics for new hires.
- Help maintain Inter-Op's
positive, professional, and high-performance team culture
.
Who You Are
Fluent in English and French
, both written and spoken.
Highly
organized, adaptable, and proactive
, with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communicator with strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Skilled in
Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word)
and
Google Workspace
.
Comfortable learning and mastering new software platforms quickly such as HubSpot CRM.
Interested in
technology, communications, and the defence/public safety space
.
Thrives in a
