Keewatin ON, Canada Keewatin Curling Club Full time $40,000 - $50,000 per year

Our Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of meals, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and working to ensure smooth kitchen operations. This position is a 6-month part time contract from November 2025 to May 2026. This position will be required to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

DUTIES:

  • Prepares and cooks menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensures food is handled safely and stored properly
  • Ensures that customers receive exceptional service. Addresses customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work area
  • Complete open and closing checklists
  • Assist with ordering and storing of inventory
  • Adheres to the Club's policies and procedures as established by the Board
  • Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations regarding food service and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a valid Safe Food Handling certification. If not, must be willing to obtain.
  • 1 - 3 years cooking or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have evening and weekend availability.
