Architectural Sheet Metal Worker

What You'll Be Doing

As a Sheet Metal Technician at LAING, you'll be hands-on with the full scope of building envelope systems. You'll install and work with:

  • Metal roofs and walls
  • Composite panels and exterior insulation
  • Membranes and waterproofing systems
  • Flashings, gutters, downspouts, and louvers
  • Soffits, skylights, ventilators, and curbs
  • Metal doors, window and door trims
  • Paper, strapping, fascia, siding, posts, and beams

You'll also have the chance to collaborate with our shop team — cutting, fabricating, and helping bring custom components to life.

  • Experience in architectural sheet metal or related trades
  • Ability to read and follow construction drawings
  • Comfortable working at heights and in all weather
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right
  • Valid driver's license and personal hand tools are assets
  • Architectural Sheet Metal Worker ticket? Even better — but not required
