The Opportunity
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a customer-oriented
Account Manager
to join our team in
Coquitlam, British Columbia
. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, achieving customer satisfaction, and driving sales and profitability for the Operator Training department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Skillfully answer inbound sales calls and explain products, services, and prices, addressing the specific needs and interests of clients
- Follow up on opportunities and leads
- Accurately obtain and record customer information in the CRM, including leads, opportunities, quotes, and orders
- Use superior telephone sales skills to prospect for potential customers and build relationships with clients
- Work to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales
- Monitor reservations, registrations, and sales progress against goals and adjust strategies as needed
- Develop annual plans for key account strategies and business growth opportunities
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- At least two years of prior B2B sales experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as business administration, is preferred
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems
- A customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and planning skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

The base pay for this role is: $45,000 annually plus uncapped commission. Total earnings in year one is estimated at approximately $75,000.
This is a
hybrid
role based in
Coquitlam, British Columbia
. Once training is complete, work can be performed from home up to four days per week.
