Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional Sales Agent to assist us with the acquisition and sales of our properties. The Sales Agent will ensure properties are market properties and screen prospective tenants. You will preserve favorable relations with property owners and tenants, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the office and portray a positive image of the company in your activities. You will oversee and coordinate the orientation of new tenants and landlords. To be successful you need to balance the needs of property owners with those of tenants, and achieve occupancy and rental goals. Top applicants are proficient multitaskers, organized and have strong people skills and are sales focused.
This position is commission based, a flat fee per rental acquired
Example: if you rent 1 apartment for a 12 month lease there is a pay out of $250. Agents on average rent 30 apartments per month.
Rental Agent Responsibilities:
● Advertising available properties and conducting property tours as part of marketing activities.
● Screening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements.
● Completing lease applications and assisting with verification of application information.
● Put out rental signs
● Give current tenants notice of entry for showings
● Work with various other companies to showcase their rental properties
● Respond to rental inquiries on facebook, kijiji etc.
● Inspecting properties when tenants take occupation and vacate.
● Liaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concerns.
● Liaison with leasing to ensure all tenants and landlords have complete files
● Meet monthly KPI's for rentals
● Create social media posts and good understanding of marketing in relation to tik tok, facebook and instagram
● Improve/acquire business development relationships with corporate partners and insurance companies
● Provide friendly, upbeat customer service Sales Agent Requirements:
● Proficient knowledge of real estate industry, property management principles and relevant legislation. Bilingual is an asset
● Valid driver's license with clean driving record and car
● Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
● Strong people skills with a customer service focused attitude
Job Type: flexible- as it is commission based the more apartments you rent the more income. Successful agents rent on average 30 apartments per month. You create your own schedule
Must have car and drivers license. Most people searching for an apartment are looking to view from 4pm-8pm and on weekends from 10-5pm
