GRANT GROUP OF COMPANIES.. is looking for a full time licenced 310T/J Truck/Trailer Mechanic Technician and Apprentices to work out of our EMPIRE TRANSPORTATION LTD location in Grimsby.

What you will be responsible for

  • Routine maintenance on all heavy equipment and trucks in our fleet as per manufacturer's maintenance schedule
  • Test, inspect, diagnose and repair of all heavy equipment and trucks in a timely and detail-oriented manner
  • Solving diagnostic or repair problems using all available resources (i.e. manuals/diagrams, dealerships, Diesel diagnostic software, team members, suppliers, internet etc.)
  • Maintaining records of maintenance and repairs performed
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Working inside, outside and on-site
  • Completing all maintenance and repair activities in a safe and healthy manner according to company policies and procedures
  • Working as a team member to ensure smooth operation of daily task
  • Knowledge of Mack & Cummins aftertreatment systems preferred.
