The Casual Egg Collector is responsible for gathering eggs on a regular basis. The Casual Egg Collector will work as part of the team ensuring the company's animal husbandry practices are followed. They will maintain accurate daily records of egg production and other relevant information as well as ensuring the egg room is kept clean and tidy. We have different barn locations, the Casual Egg Collector is going to be in the barn assigned.

Schedule

This is a casual position based on operational requirements, the position requires flexibility to work weekends and some holidays. The shifts will be 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Major Duties

• Gather eggs
• Maintain accurate daily records
• Cleaning the barns
• Protect the organization's value by keeping all protected and proprietary information confidential
• Practice bio security protocol
• Follow all safety processes and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work with live poultry
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience in the livestock industry preferred

• Strong commitment to health & safety

• Pleasant, outgoing personality, with a friendly positive approach to customer service
• Problem solving skills
