In partnership with families, communities, and the Ministry of Education, the program provides intensive mental health and educational services including individual, family, and group therapy, psychiatric consultation, and crisis intervention. The RoleAs the Team Leader your role is to provide clinical direction and oversite to the clinical team, comprised of CYMH clinicians and Child Care Counsellors. You will be working with community partners, community care teams and school district staff delivering intensive therapeutic interventions to support the youth in the day treatment program This impactful role manages the local delivery of mental health services for children, youth, and families, and provides guidance, mentorship, and clinical supervision to a dedicated and collaborative professional team. The CYMH Team Leader is part of a broader leadership network and has significant influence over the experience and outcome of services to vulnerable children, youth and families. Qualifications:Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing and Licensed to practice nursing under the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.NOTE: If this education was obtained outside of Canada, you need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through the International Credential Evaluation Services (ICES).
