Project Coordinator – Construction

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with construction coordination experience to support our project management team. You will help coordinate with vendors, trades, consultants, and internal teams through all stages of the project—from design and permitting to construction and close-out. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and a solid understanding of construction stages, scheduling, and site requirements.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Support Project Managers in developing project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Vendor & Trade Coordination: Communicate with trades, suppliers, and consultants to track material deliveries, quotes, and submittals.
- Administrative Support: Prepare and maintain project documentation including RFIs, change orders, drawings, and meeting minutes.
- Communication & Reporting: Act as a liaison between internal teams, site supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Project Tracking: Monitor project progress and timelines, proactively flagging issues and helping implement solutions.
- Construction Knowledge: Anticipate construction stage requirements such as permitting, inspections, and handover documentation.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule, document, and follow up on project meetings and site reviews.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration (asset).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in construction coordination, project management, or development.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction stages, site operations, and building processes.
- Languages: Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). Mandarin fluency an asset (Verbal and written)
- Software: Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar project management software preferred.
- Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
