About the Role
We are a dynamic fashion brand seeking a foundational leader to pioneer our entry and growth in the North American market. This role is tasked with building our premium menswear business from the ground up in the US and Canada. As the commercial owner for the region, your mission is to craft and execute a winning digital strategy centered on our direct-to-consumer website, driving brand discovery, customer acquisition, and sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Strategy & Go-To-Market:
- Develop the 0-to-1 market entry and growth plan for our premium menswear line in North America, with a primary focus on the US.
- Conduct deep market analysis to define our competitive positioning, target customer personas, and product assortment strategy relevant to the American consumer.
- Own the P&L for the region, setting and achieving targets for revenue, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
- Performance Marketing & Brand Building:
- Architect and manage the performance marketing strategy across key channels (e.g., Meta, Google, Pinterest) to drive high-intent traffic and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Lead all localized marketing initiatives, including content creation, strategic influencer partnerships, and digital campaigns that resonate with a premium menswear audience.
- Ensure all marketing output aligns with the brand's premium aesthetic and value proposition.
- Website & Customer Experience Ownership:
- Oversee the end-to-end customer journey on our e-commerce site, from navigation and product presentation to checkout, relentlessly focusing on optimizing conversion rates.
- Leverage data from Google Analytics and other tools to gain insights, run A/B tests, and implement improvements to site UX and merchandising.
- Develop and execute customer retention strategies, including email marketing and loyalty programs tailored to a discerning clientele.
- Cross-Cultural Leadership:
- Serve as the vital link between the North American market and our HQ in China, effectively communicating market needs, consumer feedback, and growth opportunities.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration with teams in China (product, creative, ops) to ensure market-aligned execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must-Have:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in e-commerce and digital marketing, with a proven track record of scaling online revenue for a fashion or apparel brand in the US market.
- Deep understanding of the North American menswear landscape, including consumer preferences, competitive dynamics, and seasonal trends.
- Expertise in managing significant performance marketing budgets across Meta and Google, with demonstrable ROAS achievements.
- Data-literate and proficient with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) to drive decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter mentality with the ability to operate autonomously in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Strongly Preferred:
- Direct experience in the premium/mid-to-high-end menswear segment.
- Experience launching a brand or significant product category in a new market.
- Mandarin language skills are a significant advantage for seamless collaboration with HQ.
