Toronto, Ontario, Canada HSK Law Professional Corporation Full time

HSK Law Professional Corporation is a boutique personal injury law firm located in North York. We are seeking to add an additional Law Clerk to our busy practice. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law practising both accident benefits and tort claim work.

Duties Include:

  • Conducting client intakes
  • Drafting Claim Forms
  • Drafting LAT Applications and Case Conference Summaries
  • Drafting Statement of Claims, pleadings, motion records, trial records, pre-trial filings
  • Preparing filings for mediation and arbitration
  • Client Management
  • File Management
  • Summarizing documents including medical reports
  • Communicating with adjusters and lawyers
  • Other duties related to accident benefits and tort claims

Law Clerk Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with accident benefits and tort claims
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to work efficiently
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills
  • Ability to work independently
