Ross Memorial Hospital (RMH) is an active, acute-care community hospital located in the heart of the City of Kawartha Lakes. Department/Unit/Program Description

This position provides first level of support for all information and telecommunication hardware/software within the Hospital, and provides backup and support for the ICT Team. In addition the incumbent will complete project work as directed by the Director of ICT.

Requires post-secondary education in a computer science program, hands on exposure to PC hardware and software support, and excellent written and verbal communications skills. Additional formal education, industry certifications and experience are beneficial (Microsoft, Exchange, ManageEngine, Internet Web tools, scripting and telecommunications skills).



Position Summary

The Information & Communication Technology Department is currently looking for a Temporary Full-Time Helpdesk Analyst to join their team.

Date Required: As soon as possible
Ending on or before: March 31, 2026

This is an onsite position located in Lindsay, Ontario.



Essential Qualifications


• Minimum 2 years' post-secondary education in Computer Science

• Experience in computer related field with emphasis on PC support

• High level of expertise with Windows, Active Directory and Office Productivity tools

• In-depth knowledge of PC and peripheral configuration and hardware repair

• Ability to deal effectively and co-operatively with all level of staff, patients and public

• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills

• Must have valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle

• Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job, as per current Physical Demands Analysis



Preferred Qualifications


• Additional education and industry certifications are preferred



Hours of Work

Must be available to work 7.5 hours per shift. Work environment may necessitate fluctuating work hours and this role participates as a member of the rotating on-call team.
