Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer - GCP to join our team for an exciting Fulltime role with one of our esteemed Fortune 500 clients, based in Canada. This is an Hybrid role.

Job Description: Cloud Java Developer (GCP / Microservices)

We are seeking an experienced
Cloud Java Developer
with strong expertise in building and deploying
cloud-native microservices
on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
Java, Spring Boot
, and
RESTful API development
, along with a deep understanding of
cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and containerized deployments
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy
    cloud-native microservices
    using
    Java, Spring Boot
    , and
    RESTful APIs
    .
  • Utilize
    GCP services
    such as
    Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage
    , and
    IAM
    for scalable cloud solutions.
  • Build, manage, and optimize
    CI/CD pipelines
    using tools like
    Jenkins, Cloud Build
    , or
    GitHub Actions
    to support automated deployments.
  • Apply strong
    OOP principles
    and
    API integration best practices
    across microservice architectures.
  • Collaborate within
    Agile/Scrum
    teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery.
  • Partner with solution architects and product teams to ensure
    secure, scalable, and resilient
    cloud-based applications.
  • Leverage
    containerization and orchestration tools
    such as
    Docker
    and
    Kubernetes
    for deployment and management.
  • Work on
    banking or financial domain projects
    , ensuring adherence to
    security, compliance
    , and
    transaction system standards
    .
  • Demonstrate excellent
    problem-solving
