As a Parts Advisor at our Capital Hyundai location, you will focus on delivering exceptional service while creating and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers. That's why we are looking for a proactive self-starter that is able to multi-task in a fast-paced, professional environment. The primary function of the position is to assist with the efficient and profitable ordering, stocking, and sale of automotive parts.

A day in the life…

  • Assisting customers with specifications and ordering of parts, as well as arranging pickup of ordered parts.
  • Communicating proficiently with customers and management to report any problems or delays regarding parts deliveries.
  • Interacting with the Service and Sales departments to ensure smooth delivery of parts.
  • Providing quotes and parts to Technicians as well as various body shops when needed.
  • Assisting with inventory/warehouse control.
  • Receiving/shipping of ordered inventory.
  • Receiving payment from retail customers when necessary.
  • General housekeeping of department.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned, subject to periodic adjustments to align with company objectives.

What You Bring To CAG…

  • Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and lift up to 60lbs may be required.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
  • Experience with CDK or Reynolds Dealer Management systems is an asset.
  • Basic technological and mechanical knowledge of how a vehicle operates.
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a stressful environment.
  • Excellent attendance is a must and consistently arrives to work on time.
  • Ensuring safety policies, standards, and procedures are followed to achieve a safe work environment and safety for all staff, customers, and vendors.

What We Require From You…

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' Parts experience is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a Driver's Abstract.
  • Record of Conduct

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
