MGCL offers a wide range of services, including civil and municipal engineering, community and land development, project management, and various surveying services.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Municipal Engineer located in Lethbridge, AB. The Municipal Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and management of municipal infrastructure projects, including water supply, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management. Day-to-day tasks include conducting feasibility studies, preparing detailed design drawings and specifications, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and managing project budgets and timelines. The Municipal Engineer will also oversee construction support and contract administration to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Municipal Engineering, Water Supply, Wastewater Treatment, and Stormwater Management
  • Strong Project Management skills, including budget and timeline management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer designation (APEGA, EGBC) is preferred
  • Experience with regulatory approvals and construction support
