The Opportunity

The Director, Plan Administration role oversees the delivery of MEPP and PEPP pension program services, ensuring exceptional member experiences, strong operational practices, and compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer / Executive VP of Member Services, this position is pivotal in driving innovation and consistency in how Plannera administers its plans and serves its members.

As Director, you will be responsible to:

  • Oversee and continuously improve the administration of MEPP and PEPP to ensure exceptional member service and operational excellence.
  • Research, analyze and provide recommendations on pension administration initiatives for presentation to pension governing bodies.
  • Apply the ADKAR change model by gathering input from Managers and Supervisors to inform process and project design, building advocates and supporters of change initiatives.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement on client service initiatives, including standardized processes and project selection.

We are looking for a leader with a proven track record in pension administration and member service innovation. Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a combination of:

  • Extensive experience in pension or benefits administration leadership within complex organizations.
  • Practical experience with plan governance and service delivery models.
  • Advanced education in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
