Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong background in the food industry, contributing to a positive and efficient front-of-house operation.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.
  • Assist with food preparation and food handling, adhering to all food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
  • Support barista duties when required, preparing coffee and specialty beverages for guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous Indian restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food service industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Experience in serving, food preparation, and food handling is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A background in hospitality is a plus, showcasing an understanding of guest satisfaction priorities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
