PuroClean of Ottawa East is a leading emergency restoration and Environmental Abatement company. We are seeking a Restoration Technician for restoration and abatement projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standards. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee restoration projects, including water and fire damage recovery, environmental cleanups, and abatement work.
  • Lead on-site teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Communicate directly with customers to schedule services, assess project requirements, and provide updates.
  • Maintain clear, detailed reports on job progress and communicate effectively with management.
  • Perform emergency cleanup services, structural drying, and environmental abatement (e.g., asbestos, mould).
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in disaster restoration or environmental abatement, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • IICRC Certifications in Water Restoration (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT), and Fire/Smoke Restoration (FSRT) are strong assets.
  • Certifications as an Asbestos Worker or Supervisor.
  • Valid G or equivalent driver's license with a clean driving abstract and own vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a police background check.
  • Availability for on-call rotations, including nights and weekends.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week

  • restoration: 3 years +

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (required)
  • IICRC Certification (required)
  • Abatement Worker or Supervisor Certification
