Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and your attention to detail will be key to ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions.
  • Handle cash and credit card payments with precision and care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, including restaurant experience.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an excellent dining experience.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  • Experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
