The McMaster Children's Hospital Autism Program is an ambulatory service for autistic children and youth. These services have strong links to McMaster University's Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry, McMaster Autism Research Team (MacART) and the Offord Centre for Child Studies.
 

1. Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
2. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
3. Minimum of three years' experience working with children and youth with autism and their families
4. Comprehensive knowledge of communication and social development and communication, speech and language delays/disorders
5. Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting
6. Demonstrated excellent organizational and time management skills
7. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
8. Willingness to participate in criminal reference check
9. Fluency in French will be considered an asset
10. Must be able to obtain a valid Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS)
 

Monday to Friday; days (some evening and occasional weekend work may be required)
 

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Speech-Language Pathologist will provide assessment and treatment services to autistic children and youth within the Ontario Autism Program.
