About the Role

We're growing and looking for a
Red Seal Automotive Service Technician

to join our repair team. You'll handle diagnostics, inspections, and repairs across a wide range of makes and models (Asian, Domestic, European), with a strong focus on quality, safety, and turnaround time.

What You'll Do

  • Perform full‑scope diagnostics using modern scan tools (OBD‑II, OEM and aftermarket)
  • Complete repairs and maintenance: brakes, steering/suspension, drivetrain, cooling, charging/starting, HVAC, and emissions
  • Conduct pre‑purchase and safety inspections; document findings with photos and notes
  • Prepare accurate repair orders, parts lists, and time estimates
  • Road test vehicles to verify concerns and confirm repairs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bay; follow shop SOPs and safety standards
  • Collaborate with service advisors and parts vendors to keep work flowing

What You Bring

  • Red Seal Journeyperson

(Automotive Service Technician) — required
- 3+ years hands‑on shop experience (dealership or independent)
- Strong electrical and drivability diagnostics; confident with CAN bus and module programming basics
- Proficiency with scan tools (e.g., Autel, Snap‑on, OEM), multimeter, and service information systems (ALLDATA/Mitchell)
- Ability to produce clear digital inspections and communicate recommendations
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
- You're reliable, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused

  • A/C 609 certification
  • Hybrid/EV safety training
  • Provincial Inspector license
