WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to support full-cycle accounting operations for a growing international group. This role will focus on day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll administration, and month-end reporting while also assisting with consolidations and intercompany transactions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment using a large ERP system (NetSuite).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Payable & Payments
    • Manage end-to-end AP process including vendor invoices, approvals, and payment runs.
    • Ensure proper coding, documentation, and compliance with internal controls.
    • Maintain vendor records and support annual 1099/T4A reporting.
  • Payroll & Benefits
    • Administer biweekly/monthly payroll for Canada, US and international staff.
    • Manage benefits administration, employee enrollments/terminations, and compliance.
    • Prepare payroll reconciliations and support related filings.
  • Month-End Close & Reporting
    • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
    • Support preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.
    • Assist with foreign currency transactions and revaluations.
    • Contribute to variance analysis and management reporting.
  • ERP & Process Improvement
    • Maintain accuracy of transactions and reporting in NetSuite. 
    • Partner with finance leadership on automation and system enhancements.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Assist with intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
    • Support external audits, tax compliance, and special projects as required.
    • Exposure to construction accounting is considered an asset.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
  • Solid experience in AP, payroll, month-end close, and reconciliations.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP system required.
  • Familiarity with multi-entity consolidations and foreign currency accounting.
  • CPA designation (or in progress) is an asset, but not required.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; technology- and automation-focused.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive.
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently within a global team.
